We extend our congratulations to Yeqian Zhu from the Lab of Prof Dr Christian Schulz on successfully defending her PhD thesis on the 'The Role of PKM2 in Cardiac Macrophages of Distinct Ontogeny During Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury'.

Yeqian's PhD thesis focused on programming the macrophage immunometabolism to reduce cardiac inflammation. She was enrolled within the CRC1123 Graduate School PhD Program.
