We extend our congratulations to Bingni Chen from the Steffens Lab on successfully defending her PhD thesis on the 'role of peripheral CB1 cannabinoid receptors in atherosclerosis and metabolism'

Bingni's PhD thesis focused on endocannabinoid signalling in atherosclerosis. Her work shed light on endothelial inflammation and lipid uptake. Bingni was enrolled within the CRC1123 Graduate School PhD Program.
