DR. MONIKA HEIN - SPEAKER. TRAINER. VOICE.

She was educated at the Musical theatre at Hamburg Stage School where she also performed Jazz-choirs, jazz dance, acting and solo singing paving her way to the speaker´s stage. She further explored the phenomenon of the voice at Hamburg University, studying phonetics: PhD on respiration, as measured in musical performers. Later she worked as a speech therapist for the „Hamburg association of kindergartens“.

She is now a freelance speaker, trainer, coach and voice artist and will give a workshop for women scientists:

"In a chest-tone of conviction"

In everyday working life, women in particular often find it difficult to assert themselves and to place their opinions in a sustainable manner. Confidence in our own abilities, experiences and dominant colleagues often prevents us from really raising our voice. This workshop aims to change that. Every woman has her own distinctive voice and can make it audible, no matter what is happening around us. The manual skills that are needed to do this, we take away from actors: What makes their voices sustainable? How do they use their body, breathing and the sound of their voices to get across well on the stage? In this course we will test the success factor voice and will then be prepared for all situations in which we want to be heard! Get loud!
